Loutre, French for "otter", is a thoughtful collection where no two pieces are exactly the same. Each vintage item is thoughtfully collected or refurbished, and each ceramic lamp is individually hand-crafted to evoke nostalgia, comfort, and conversation in your home.
We had the pleasure of crafting a distinct brand identity that honors this artisanal approach. Our feminine design features delicate typography with thin, smooth lines that convey elegance and refinement, while the custom emblem depicts an otter positioned on a table—a playful nod to the brand's namesake and curatorial philosophy.
Drawing inspiration from Loutre's belief in creating "sacred spaces," the identity seamlessly integrates across all touchpoints. An embossed ceramic stamp marks each handcrafted lamp, while custom tissue paper and branded tape transform the unboxing into an elevated experience. Every element balances functional and aesthetic purposes, reinforcing the brand's commitment to pieces that spark meaningful connections. The result is a cohesive visual language that celebrates imperfection as beauty and positions each lamp as a collected treasure with its own unique story.
